I paint because I like to take something created from the mind and making it into something concrete. In this body of work I have one approach based on improvisation where a dialogue takes place with the work. As a painting begins to take shape it “tells me” what to do next. I become interested in investigating what kinds of painted realities (a reality existing only on a flat two-dimensional surface) can be created using only two basic elements, Geometrical tendency and Suprematist abstraction.
